F. Participants
1. This Championship is open to all members of clubs which are affiliated to PBSI and foreign country.
2. Participants are supposed to follow all tournament’s regulation which are determined by the Tournament Committee.


G. Entries
1. Entries fees are free.
2. Entries close at April 22nd 2008
3. Entries must be submitted with valid proof of age (i.e. birth certificate). If the player has transferred between clubs, a copy of their transfer document is also required.

H. Valid Proof of Age
1. PBSI Athlete I.D. Card
2. Birth Certificate (Certified on the date of birth)
3. Kindergarten’s Certificate of Graduation
4. Elementary School’s Certificate of Graduation
5. Pasport (Evidence)
Participants need to attached a copy of one of valid proof age at the entry time. When participant’s age is in doubt, the Tournament Committee reserves the right to request further proof of the player’s age.

I. Competition
Each event will be run with a minimum of 8 players, who are from at least 3 different clubs and from at least two different regions.

J. Rules, Laws and Regulations
The Championships will bw carried out in accordance with the current rules, laws and regulations of the Badminton World Federations (BWF) and any amendment (s) thereof. In case of any dispute on the interpretation of the rules, laws and regulations, the decision shall rest in all matters with the Referee.

K. Event Format
All events will follow the ‘Knock-Out’ format of competition.

L. Seeds and Draw
· Seed will be finalised by the Referee
· The draw will be conducted on the April 25th 2008 in the offices of the Board of Management PBSI East Java.

M. Technical Meeting
The technical meeting will be held on the April 28th 2008 in the Sudirman Hall Meeeting Room.

N. Shuttlecocks
The shuttlecocks will be used is INDOCOCK INTERNATIONAL

O. Tournament Schedule
The Tournament Schedule will be arranged and finalised by the Tournament Committee.

P. Protests / Appeals
a. Technical
1. Protests/ Appeals of a technical nature will be decided upon by a committee
consisting of : Referee
2. The Referee’s decision is final.
b. Non-Technical
1. Protests/ Appeals that are non technical will be decided upon by a committee
consisting of : Referee and Organizing Committee
c. Protests / Appeals must be put forward no later than 5 minutes after the incident in question.
d. Protests / Appeals must be made in writing to the Referee, accompanied with an administration fee of Rp 250.000,-

Q. Expenditure
All costs of competing are the responsibility of the participants.
R. Prize Money
The prize money for this event is worth US $ 9500 with details below :
- Man and Woman = US $ 8000 (total)
- Veteran = US $ 1500 (total)
